A tiny, colorful stonecrop that forms a dense carpet of fine, succulent foliage in bright chartreuse to golden yellow. The delicate, almost moss-like leaves can develop attractive pink, coral, and reddish tones with cool temperatures or stress, creating changing color throughout the season. Small white star-shaped flowers appear in summer, adding a light sprinkling of bloom above the foliage.
 
Its extremely low, spreading habit makes ‘Minus Aureum’ particularly useful for rock and crevice gardens, alpine troughs, containers, and filling small spaces between stones. Give it plenty of sun for the strongest golden coloring and sharply drained soil, especially during the wet winter months.
