A charming miniature groundcover, Major Corsican Stonecrop forms a dense carpet of tiny, rounded, powdery blue-gray succulent leaves. Cool temperatures or drought can tint the foliage with attractive lavender and mauve tones, adding another dimension of seasonal color. Small clusters of star-shaped white flowers appear in early summer, attracting pollinators while floating delicately above the foliage.
 
Extremely drought tolerant once established, this low-growing sedum thrives in full sun and gritty, sharply drained soil. Its petite scale makes it particularly appealing in rock and crevice gardens, troughs, green roofs, between stepping stones, and spilling over container edges. Avoid wet winter soils for best long-term performance.
