Murale Sedum
Sedum album ‘Murale’
4-inch pot
A tough and adaptable groundcover, Murale stonecrop forms a low, spreading mat of small, succulent leaves that shift in color throughout the season. The foliage is typically green but develops attractive reddish-bronze tones, especially in full sun and cooler weather. In early to mid-summer, clusters of small white star-shaped flowers appear above the foliage, adding a light, airy effect.
This sedum thrives in well-drained soil and sunny locations, making it an excellent choice for rock gardens, pathways, containers, and green roofs. Extremely drought tolerant once established, it performs best in lean soils and requires very little maintenance. Its ability to handle heat, dry conditions, and poor soil makes it a reliable option for difficult planting areas.
