A classic spring-blooming groundcover, Axcent Light Blue Aubrieta, also known as Rock Cress produces a dense carpet of soft lavender-blue flowers that nearly cover the plant in early spring. The blooms create a vivid, cascading effect over walls, rock edges, and containers, while the low, spreading habit forms a neat mat of evergreen foliage that provides structure year-round.
 
This variety thrives in well-drained soil and sunny locations, where it performs best and flowers most heavily. It is an excellent choice for rock gardens, edging, and slopes, especially in areas where drainage is sharp. Light shearing after bloom helps maintain a compact form and encourages fresh growth.
