A vibrant spring-blooming groundcover, Axcent Lilac Aubrieta, also known as Rock Cress, produces a dense blanket of soft lilac-purple flowers that nearly cover the plant in early spring. The blooms create a striking cascading effect over walls, rock edges, and containers, while the low, spreading habit forms a tidy mat of evergreen foliage that provides year-round structure.
 
This variety thrives in well-drained soil and sunny locations, where it flowers most heavily and maintains a compact form. It is especially well suited to rock gardens, edging, and slopes where drainage is sharp. Light shearing after bloom helps keep the plant dense and encourages fresh growth.
