A bold and vigorous groundcover, Caitlin’s Giant is prized for its unusually large, glossy bronze-green leaves that create a lush, textured carpet in the landscape. In spring, sturdy spikes of deep violet-blue flowers rise above the foliage, attracting bees and other early-season pollinators while adding a vibrant burst of color. The larger foliage gives this selection a more substantial presence than typical bugleweeds, making it especially effective beneath trees, along pathways, and in shaded borders.
 
Selected for its impressive leaf size and robust growth, this variety spreads steadily by runners to form a dense, weed-suppressing mat. It thrives in rich, well-drained soil with consistent moisture but adapts to a wide range of garden conditions, including dry shade once established. Occasional thinning helps maintain vigor and good air circulation.
