Pink Jasmine
Jasminum polyanthum1 gallon pot
Pink Jasmine is one of the most treasured flowering vines for fragrance, speed, and sheer floral drama. When in bloom in late winter and spring, it covers itself in large clusters of deep pink buds that open into starry white flowers, filling the air with a rich, sweet perfume. Plant it where the fragrance can be appreciated, such as near doorways.
Note that Pink Jasmine is a "true" jasmine known for its delicate, deciduous to semi-evergreen leaves and mass of rosy-pink buds that burst into a heavy spring bloom with intense fragrance. Star Jasmine, a different type of Jasmine, features tougher, evergreen leaves that produces less fragrant, pinwheel-shaped white flowers from late spring through summer, and is better for privacy if this is your goal.
