Archer’s Gold Lemon Thyme
Thymus × citriodorus ‘Archer’s Gold’
4-inch pot
A bright and aromatic groundcover herb, Archer’s Gold lemon thyme is valued for its small, golden-yellow leaves that release a fresh citrus scent when brushed or crushed. The foliage forms a low, spreading mat that adds both color and fragrance to borders, rock gardens, and pathways. In early to mid-summer, it produces small lavender-pink flowers that attract pollinators and add a soft layer of seasonal interest.
This variety thrives in well-drained soil and sunny locations, where its golden color is most vibrant. It is highly drought tolerant once established and performs best in lean soils with good drainage. Ideal for edging, containers, and between stepping stones, it benefits from occasional light trimming to maintain a dense, compact form.
