A compact, exceptionally bright Autumn Sage producing masses of large, true-red tubular flowers above small, aromatic dark green leaves. The vivid flowers were selected for their ability to hold their rich red color without fading and provide a long season of bloom. Hummingbirds, butterflies, and bees are frequent visitors.
 
‘Radio Red’ was developed by Darwin Perennials for its compact, well-branched habit, large flowers, and outstanding garden performance. It thrives in full sun and well-drained soil and becomes quite drought tolerant once established. Excellent drainage is particularly important during wet Pacific Northwest winters.
