A striking, long-blooming Coreopsis with rich, deep scarlet to vermilion-red flowers accented by small orange-yellow centers. The intensely colored blooms appear abundantly above fine green foliage, creating a bold display from summer well into fall. Butterflies, bees, and other pollinators are strongly attracted to the flowers.
 
Developed by Dümmen Orange, ‘Vermillion’ was selected for its floriferous performance, heat tolerance, and extended flowering season. Its compact, mounding habit works beautifully in sunny borders, mass plantings, and containers. It performs best in full sun and well-drained soil and tolerates drier conditions once established.
