Korean Rock Fern
Polystichum tsus-simense4-inch pot
A compact evergreen fern with handsome, glossy dark green fronds carried on contrasting dark, scaly stems. Its finely divided, slightly leathery foliage forms a tidy, arching clump and provides excellent texture and year-round interest without taking up much garden space.
Native to eastern Asia, Korean Rock Fern is an easy, reliable choice for woodland gardens, shaded rock gardens, containers, and planting beneath shrubs. Its smaller stature makes it especially useful where larger ferns would overwhelm neighboring plants. It prefers shade and humus-rich, well-drained soil and performs particularly well in cool woodland conditions.
