A semi-evergreen fern with arching, cool green fronds. Young, papery growth unfurls from the center of each plant, emerging coppery-pink and maturing to shades of emerald green. Foliage adopts rusty-red coloration, and develops red sori on the undersides with the arrival of cooler weather. Prized for its foliage, this fern makes a great textural addition to shaded beds and borders, as a groundcover, or addition to containers. A great asset for shady, difficult corners of the garden.
