A beautiful shade perennial prized for its thick, heart-shaped leaves that are almost entirely shimmering silver, highlighted by narrow dark green veins and margins. In spring, sprays of tiny cobalt-blue, forget-me-not-like flowers float above the foliage, creating a delicate contrast with the bold leaves.
 
‘Silver Heart’ was selected for thicker, more substantial foliage and better heat tolerance than many earlier silver-leaved Brunneras. It forms a compact, luminous mound that brightens woodland gardens, shady borders, and areas beneath trees and shrubs. Consistent moisture helps keep the foliage looking its best through summer.
