Pink Spike Bugbane
Actaea ‘Pink Spike’1 gallon pot
A dramatic woodland perennial, Pink Spike combines deeply divided, dark purple-bronze foliage with tall, graceful wands of fragrant blush-pink flowers in late summer and early fall. The airy flower spikes rise well above the foliage, creating striking vertical interest and attracting late-season pollinators. Its dark leaves provide excellent contrast with hostas, ferns, astilbes, and other shade-loving plants even when the plant is not in bloom.
This statuesque perennial performs best in rich, consistently moist soil and part shade, particularly with protection from hot afternoon sun. Allow it room to mature and avoid letting the soil dry out during summer. Its combination of dramatic foliage, fragrant flowers, and late-season bloom makes it an outstanding specimen for woodland and shade gardens.
