A compact and intensely colored selection, Blue Hobbit sea holly produces striking steel-blue flowers and stems that create a bold, metallic effect in the garden. The spiky, thistle-like blooms are surrounded by narrow bracts, giving the plant a distinctive, architectural look. Its smaller size makes it especially useful in containers, borders, and the front of sunny plantings.
 
This variety thrives in full sun and well-drained soil, where it develops the best color and maintains a sturdy, upright form. It is highly drought tolerant once established and performs well in lean, sandy soils with minimal care. An excellent choice for pollinators and also valued for cut and dried arrangements.
