Jethro Tull Coreopsis
Coreopsis ‘Jethro Tull’1 quart pot
A distinctive and award-winning perennial, Jethro Tull produces masses of golden-yellow flowers with uniquely fluted, rolled petals surrounding a darker golden center. The unusual trumpet-shaped petals give the blooms exceptional texture and a playful, windswept appearance unlike traditional tickseed varieties. Its compact, mounded habit provides a long season of bright color in borders, containers, and pollinator gardens.
Named the 2011 Perennial Plant of the Year®, this variety thrives in full sun and well-drained soil, where it blooms continuously from early summer into fall. It is drought tolerant once established, attracts bees and butterflies, and benefits from occasional deadheading or light shearing to encourage repeat flowering.
