A stately and elegant perennial, Aurora Blue produces tall, densely packed flower spikes of rich violet-blue blooms, each accented by a contrasting white or black bee. The towering flower stalks rise above deeply divided green foliage, creating a dramatic vertical display that brings classic cottage garden charm to borders and cutting gardens. Its sturdy stems and large blooms make it equally impressive in the landscape and in fresh floral arrangements.
 
Part of the Aurora Series, this variety was bred for improved branching, strong stems, and reliable flowering from seed. It thrives in full sun with fertile, well-drained soil and consistent moisture. In warmer climates, afternoon shade helps prolong the bloom season. Removing spent flower spikes often encourages a lighter rebloom later in the summer.
