A dramatic dark-foliaged dahlia, Black Forest Ruby produces glowing ruby-red blooms that stand out vividly against near-black stems and deep bronze-black foliage. The flowers range from semi-double to fully double and create a rich jewel-toned effect that adds depth and contrast to containers, borders, and cutting gardens. Even before flowering, the dark foliage provides strong ornamental impact.
 
This variety was bred for improved vigor, branching, and disease resistance, with a naturally bushy habit that often requires less staking than taller traditional dahlias.
