Coral Bells 'Marmalade'
Heuchera 'Marmalade'
1 gallon pot
Standing out with its rich, shiny, undulating, unique russet to amber foliage, with hot pink undersides, Heuchera (Coral Bells) 'Marmalade' is showy in all seasons. Vigorous, it stands up to inclement weather and makes a great landscape choice for any sunny or shady corners of the garden.
- In late spring - early summer, panicles of small, bell-shaped, reddish-brown flowers bloom on slender stems rising up to 16 in. above the semi-evergreen foliage. This Heuchera is prized by gardeners for its drought, heat and humidity tolerance.
- Won first place at the Royal Dutch Flower Bulb Association show in 2008.
- This clump-forming perennial forms basal mounds, up to 10 in. tall with a spread of 18 in. A sturdy performer that is not only easy to grow, but also requires little maintenance and is virtually pest and disease free!
- Performs best in sun or part sun, in rich, humusy, medium moisture, well-drained soils. If grown in full sun, make sure the soil remains consistently moist or the foliage might decline. Thrives in dry shade, once established. It is attractive to butterflies or hummingbirds and often ignored by deer.
- A spectacular addition to beds, borders, rock gardens, woodland gardens and is ideal as groundcover, edger along paths or in containers. Fabulous when planted in groups!
- Divide clumps in spring every 3-4 years.
- Remove stems of faded flowers to promote additional bloom.
