Bressingham White Bergenia Bergenia ‘Bressingham White’
1 gallon pot
A handsome evergreen perennial, Bressingham White forms substantial clumps of broad, leathery deep-green leaves topped in spring by clusters of bell-shaped flowers. Pale pink buds open to pure white, creating a fresh, elegant display above the glossy foliage. The leaves provide excellent year-round texture and may develop attractive bronze tones during colder weather.
Bred by renowned British plantsman Alan Bloom at Bressingham, this cultivar received the Royal Horticultural Society’s Award of Garden Merit. It performs well in sun or part shade, although some afternoon shade is beneficial in warmer locations. Its bold foliage makes an excellent contrast with ferns, hostas, and finer-textured woodland plants.
