Heuchera 'Forever Purple'
 
A standout Heuchera with intensely purple, glossy leaves and beautifully fluted, ruffled edges. Unlike many purple-leaved varieties that fade or shift color through the seasons, 'Forever Purple’ was selected for rich purple foliage that holds its color remarkably well year-round. Short stems of delicate purple-pink flowers rise just above the foliage from late spring through summer.
 
Introduced by Terra Nova Nurseries south of Portland, this vigorous, multi-crowned selection forms a broad, dense mound and has performed exceptionally well in perennial trials. It works beautifully along border edges, massed as a colorful groundcover, or in containers. In our Pacific Northwest climate, it performs well from sun to shade, though some afternoon protection helps keep foliage looking its best in hotter sites.
