A showy evergreen Bergenia with large clusters of apple-blossom-pink flowers held above glossy, deep green foliage. The unusually large, bell-shaped blooms are carried on heavily branched flower clusters, creating an impressive display in early to mid-spring. Its thick, leathery leaves provide attractive structure throughout the year.
 
Selected by Walters Gardens for its exceptionally large flowers, dense habit, and strong garden performance, ‘Fairytale Romance’ works beautifully along borders, beneath shrubs, or massed as a durable groundcover. It performs best in rich, moisture-retentive but well-drained soil and is naturally resistant to deer and rabbit browsing.
