Little Pye Joe-Pye Weed

A compact selection of the native Joe-Pye weed, Little Pye produces large, domed clusters of soft lavender-pink flowers atop sturdy burgundy-tinged stems from midsummer into early fall. The nectar-rich blooms are irresistible to butterflies, bees, and other pollinators, while the tidy, upright habit makes it an excellent choice for borders, rain gardens, and smaller landscapes where traditional Joe-Pye weed would be too large.
 
Selected for its compact stature and excellent branching, Little Pye delivers all the pollinator appeal of the species in a more manageable size. It thrives in full sun to part sun and prefers moist, fertile soil, though it adapts well to average garden conditions once established. Its long-lasting blooms and strong stems also make it an excellent cut flower.
