Dahlia 'Honka Red'
 
A unique and instantly recognizable dahlia, Honka Red features vivid scarlet-red petals arranged in a distinctive star-shaped form around a bright golden-yellow center. Unlike traditional full double dahlias, the open blooms have narrow, slightly twisted petals that create a light, airy appearance and excellent movement in the garden. The flowers are highly attractive to bees and other pollinators throughout the season.
 
Part of the well-known Honka series originally developed in the Netherlands, this variety is valued for its nonstop flowering, strong stems, and exceptional garden presence. Its unusual orchid-style blooms add a modern, architectural look to borders, containers, and cutting gardens.
