Dahlia 'BJ's Gunnar'
 
'BJ Gunnar' is a green-leaved cultivar to around 2-3 ft. tall with a 3-4 inch single florets having hot pink petals (darker towards the center) surrounding a contrasting yellow eye.
 
This hybrid was bred by Jerry Morris of Snohomish in 2007.
 
Grow in fertile, humus-rich, well-drained soil, enriched with organic matter and general purpose fertilizer, in full sun. Pinch out growing tips to encourage bushy plants and stake if required. Water freely in dry periods.
