Sweet Woodruff
Galium odoratum
4-inch pot
Sweet woodruff is an excellent groundcover for shade and semi-shade area forming a dense carpet of foliage and blooming with sprays of tiny white flowers from Apr-May. It dies back in winter and during summer if placed in full sun. Semi drought-tolerant.
Note: Some gardeners have found this groundcover to spread quickly in a border, so it is better used as a groundcover. It is fairly easy to remove in areas you don't want it.
