Hosta 'Loyalist' is a reverse variegation sport of Hosta 'Patriot'. Leaves emerge creamy yellow in spring with dark green margins. By mid-summer the leaf center is pure white with dark green margins.  Beautiful color contrast on this small to medium hosta. Can handle some sun without the center melting out. Slow grower like most white center hostas but will perform well in a fertile soil with good moisture retention. Thick leaves help with vigor and keeping slugs and snails at bay. Pale lavender flowers mid summer.
