A vibrant and free-flowering selection, Clear Crystals Purple sweet alyssum produces masses of rich lavender-purple blooms that create a soft, flowing carpet of color. The flowers are lightly fragrant and highly attractive to pollinators, while the plant’s spreading habit makes it ideal for edging, containers, and cascading over walls or baskets. Its bold color provides excellent contrast with whites, yellows, and pastels.
 
This variety is known for its improved vigor and better heat tolerance compared to older alyssum types, allowing it to bloom longer into the season. It performs best in well-drained soil and benefits from occasional trimming to refresh growth and encourage continued flowering. Especially effective in cool to mild conditions, it often rebounds nicely after summer heat.
