Green Tails Amaranth, or Tassel Flower, is a pendant amaranth with uniquely green drooping tassels. Fast to bloom, the tassels lengthen the entire season and last beautifully for cut flowers and everlasting arrangements. These unique plants add interest to flowers beds and borders, where they may need staking or support. This species is native to Africa and India and is used as a grain in some parts of the world. Green Tails has excellent heat and drought tolerance and prefers well-drained loam but tolerates most soils if there is good drainage. A wonderful choice for beds, borders, and cutting gardens.
