Autumnale Fuchsia is an annual plant with glossy, lime green leaves and red trumpet-shaped flowers with purple overtones that bloom from mid-summer to mid-fall. The leaves have distinctive red veins and tinges of gold, and as the summer progresses the leaves transition to orange and purple hues. The flowers have white anthers and grow along the branches. You can put these leaves on full display as a unique ground cover. It's also a romantic accent in container gardening and hanging baskets.
