A bold and eye-catching perennial, Starship Deep Rose produces tall spikes of rich deep rose-pink flowers that bloom continuously from early summer into fall. The vibrant blossoms rise above attractive bronze-tinged foliage, creating a striking contrast that adds vertical interest to borders, containers, and pollinator gardens. The nectar-rich flowers are especially attractive to hummingbirds, butterflies, and bees.
 
Part of the Starship series, this variety was bred for earlier flowering, improved branching, and better heat tolerance than traditional cardinal flowers. It thrives in full sun to part sun with consistently moist, well-drained soil and is an excellent choice for rain gardens, mixed borders, and cottage gardens.
