Sedum 'Mr. Goodbud'
Sedum 'Mr. Goodbud'
1 gallon pot
This dusky Sedum features denser buds than most, resulting in large flowers, up to 4 in. wide when in bloom. They start a bicolor pink with lighter pointed petals before maturing to a rich, dark mauve, contrasting beautifully with the tight foliage which is mostly green and may display scarlet edges on its upper leaves. Gradually, densely clustered buds will reveal tiny, star-like pink flowers in late summer, which will softly change to rich mauve in the fall.
Both foliage and dead blooms will remain attractive through winter.
