A bold and striking perennial, Blue Glitter sea holly is prized for its intense steel-blue flowers and stems that create a shimmering, metallic effect in the garden. The spiky, thistle-like blooms are surrounded by narrow bracts, giving the plant a distinctive, architectural look. Its upright habit and cool-toned color make it an excellent contrast to softer perennials and warm-toned flowers.
 
This variety thrives in full sun and well-drained soil, where it develops the best color and maintains a sturdy, upright form. It is highly drought tolerant once established and performs well in lean, sandy soils. Excellent for pollinators and also valued as a long-lasting cut or dried flower.
