Super compact variety that flowers earlier than typical Joe Pye weed varieties. Butterflies flock to this gorgeous, long-blooming plant. Full-size deep mauve flowers on long upright stems bloom earlier than most Joe Pye Weeds and even continue into the fall, offering a reliable food source for hungry pollinators. Coarsely serrated dark green leaves grow to 12 inches long beneath clumps of vanilla-scented flower clusters. Compact and hardy, this native cultivar maxes out under 3 feet tall, great for small spaces or the front of a garden.
