A bold and architectural annual, Oeschberg amaranth is prized for its tall, upright habit and dramatic, cascading tassels of deep burgundy-red flowers. The long, pendulous blooms can reach impressive lengths, creating a striking vertical and trailing effect that adds movement and intensity to garden plantings. Its strong form makes it an excellent focal point in borders and cutting gardens.
 
This variety thrives in full sun and well-drained soil, where it grows quickly and produces abundant blooms through the summer. It is heat tolerant and relatively low maintenance, requiring only regular watering during establishment. The flowers are also excellent for cutting and drying, holding their color well in arrangements.
