About the event

This class is designed for all levels of gardeners hoping to start or expand their cut flower garden. There are many steps you can take in the fall to make next year your best growing season yet! This class will cover:


o   Determining cut flower “must haves” for beautiful bouquets

o   Assessing your garden’s current successes and challenges

o   Developing a plan to help you stay focused on your goals

o   Collecting and storing seeds and tubers

o   Starting seeds NOW to get a head start next year

o   Preparing your garden and soil for rest and rejuvenation

Mary Stueber is the co-owner of 13 Hens Farm with her husband, Ryan. Together they operate an organic vegetable and flower farm in Enumclaw, WA and are parents to 2 (human) kids, 3 llamas, 10 sheep, 11 goats, 30 ducks, 1 cranky emu and wayyy too many chickens. Mary loves growing flowers inspired by her Grandma Nancy’s garden. She believes flowers connect us to our past and each other and hopes to inspire people to get their hands in the soil.
