A compact, upright, bushy, evergreen shrub with aromatic, grey-green leaves and large, fragrant, intense pink flowers that bloom from late spring to early autumn. The flowers are held on strong, well-branched habits and have magenta bracts. 
 
This perennial is heat and drought tolerant, attracts pollinators, and prefers dry to average moisture levels with very well-drained soil. It should only be grown in full sunlight and will often die in standing water.
